Coca Cola Mania

A Coke mad house! This is what I would call this shop, which is situated in Berjaya Times Square, KL. The owners, Simon and SS Cheung are both super Coke fans. (And so is Jessica. Thanks to her for asking Cheung if we could snap some photos. He agreed on the spot and was very supportive of it.) I never knew there were so many types of Coke cans, bottles, miniatures and merchandise. They have almost everything from the first Atlanta Coke bottle to the trendiest glow in the dark limited edition cool thing. However, I am truly impressed by Simon and Cheung for having successfully turned their hobby into a career. Nothing is more blissful than doing what one loves and enjoys! Here are some pictures to prove just that. Have fun!

Badminton...badminton!

Princess Diana & Prince Charles wedding Coke bottles. Fancy!

The cactus-not-bursting-balloon concept is my favourite of all Coke advertisements. It is reflective of not being caught by preconceived ideas. It also brings to mind about peace, living in harmony irrespective of differences or similarities. We need some loving, baby!

Part 2 - Mystical Steppes

More photos!!!

Mystical Steppes - along the silk road

The following photographs were taken during a two-hour extravaganza of songs and dances performed by the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar Theatre Dance Troupe. It showcases the diverse cultures of the Uyghur, Kazakh, Mongolian, Tajik, Uzbek and Tartar peoples living in the vast region of Xinjiang, China. Most of the girls were very beautiful and the guys were remarkably good looking. The dances are very much influenced by Middle Eastern beats. Enjoy!
